Anas Alowais is a journalist and author specializing in historical fiction. him work often draws on her extensive research into 19th-century European politics, a subject she studied while earning her master's degree in history from Cambridge University. Her debut novel, The Gilded Cage, was a finalist for the Historical Novel Society Award. When she's not writing, Jane enjoys gardening and exploring historical sites near her home in rural England.
